Key art created for the release of ’Runescape : Dragonwilds,’ the latest entry into the ‘Runescape’ franchise where dragons, magic, crafting and survival elements take the iconic and long running RPG in a bold new direction. I created a range of concepts, each focusing on a key creative component of the game with this one emerging as the preferred route. Once the final composition was locked every element of the key art was carefully crafted using a combination of delicately retouched in-game assets and real world textures to create a piece that was both polished and stylised yet closely aligned to the look and feel of the game.The key art was supported by a suite of resized assets that ensured the art remained impactful and consistent across the wide range of placements in which it was to be displayed.
